The Arahi 6 is Hoka’s hybrid of a distance and speed trainer. It is soft, responsive, but firm enough to be capable of faster runs. It's a versatile model which one could rightly compare to the Clifton 8. Where the Clifton is Hoka’s neutral, allround shoe, the Arahi responds with a stability option.
I am currently running in the Hoka Conquests, which was the newest model when I bought them. Like the Cliftons, the toe box seemed abnormally large. I’ve had two other Hoka models, and didn’t get this same feeling with them. Afraid that sizing down might lead to toe bruising problems, I stuck with the size I bought (which was a 12.5).

Despite not having a full-length outsole, we found the Hoka Bondi 8 to be fairly durable. It is not as wear-resistant as most road shoes due to its exposed foam but we believe that it will hold up for at least 300 miles. The good news is that the rubber pieces at the bottom of the shoe are 3 mm thick.
